🧊Who We Are — IF: Ice & Fluid Log started as a notebook scribbled behind the bar during a slow Tuesday shift — a place to jot down which ice shape worked best for which pour. We turned that habit into a dedicated, offline utility built for people who take dilution as seriously as they take garnish. No servers, no sync, no noise — just a clean ledger for the details that separate a good drink from a forgettable one.
🎯Our Mission — Great cocktails are chemistry wearing a nice outfit, and ice is the variable most bars never measure. Our mission is to put that variable back in your hands: to give bartenders, mixologists, and curious home hosts a simple, private way to track how ice style, volume, and time change a drink's dilution and temperature — without needing a spreadsheet or a subscription.

Every entry lives on your device, in a dark, low-light dashboard designed to be read at arm's length behind a bar top.
We collect nothing. The App has no account system, no sign-up, no name or email field, no geolocation request, and no analytics software of any kind. Every piece of data you enter — ice style selections, fluid ounce measurements, container dimensions, custom recipe notes, and production batch counts — is typed by you, for you, and never leaves your device.
Because we don't collect information, we don't use, analyze, aggregate, or sell it either. There is no backend processing your entries; every calculation, log update, and matrix entry happens entirely on-device, in real time, with nothing transmitted anywhere.
All data — your ice inventory logs, dilution ledger entries, and saved recipe formulas — is stored locally within the App's storage on your phone or tablet. There is no cloud database, no remote server, and no background sync. If your device is offline, the App works exactly the same.
The App integrates no third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or software development kits (SDKs) of any kind. It does not connect to smart-bar hardware, freezing appliances, payment processors, or any external service. What you log stays inside the App.
Because your information never travels off your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no external server to secure. Your data's safety is governed by your own device's built-in protections (passcode, biometric lock, encryption), which we encourage you to keep enabled.
The App does not knowingly, or otherwise, collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data collection occurs for any user, no age-specific data practices are necessary, and the App is designed to be COPPA-friendly by default.
You are always in complete control of your data. Because everything is stored locally, deleting an entry removes it instantly, and uninstalling the App removes all associated data with it. There are no cloud backups, no linked accounts, and no residual copies stored anywhere by us — because we never had them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or clarify existing practices. Any changes will be reflected in a revised Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
